Lab initiatives are BPG-led products, coalitions, pilots, and communities. Some emerge from consulting or consortium work; others begin with a system gap or partner opportunity worth exploring.
A DEVELOPMENT PORTFOLIO
Different forms. Different stages. A common home.
The Initiative Lab can hold an idea while its need, coalition, delivery model, and sources of support are still taking shape. Initiatives advance through evidence and commitment—not simply because they entered the portfolio.
Consilium is not another item in the portfolio. It is the BPG Labs platform used within relevant engagements to frame challenges, synthesize perspectives, map systems, and carry the reasoning behind a next move forward.
Each initiative has a different next move: participation, collaboration, a pilot partner, venture-building capacity, or financial support.
COMMUNITYSeeking participants & hosts
Multistakeholder Drinking
A facilitated series of targeted online dialogues, culminating in a face-to-face Brussels gathering about the elusive potential of collective innovation.
The need
Cross-sector practitioners rarely have an open space to examine what collective innovation actually demands, compare perspectives, and form useful connections.
BPG Labs’ role
Designing and facilitating connected online conversations, then carrying their questions and learning into an in-person Brussels gathering.
What is needed next
Participants for the dialogue series, plus topic contributors and local partners interested in supporting the Brussels gathering.
PLATFORM STATUS Consilium is intended to support later synthesis or follow-on work, but it is not yet being used for this programme.
A coalition concept exploring how local food systems, preventive health, agriculture, communities, and life sciences can create shared value.
The opportunity
Local food production can support healthier communities while creating new forms of participation across agriculture, healthcare, and industry.
BPG Labs’ role
Framing the system, developing the coalition concept, and identifying partners who can test it in practice.
What is needed next
A pilot region; health, food, agriculture, and life-science partners; an operating lead; and catalytic funding for coalition and pilot design.
IN CONSILIUM NOW The project is using the Consilium application to structure the system opportunity, develop the coalition concept, and clarify the actors and conditions a credible pilot will require.
01OpportunityConnect local food production, preventive health, agriculture, communities, and life sciences around shared value.
02Working structureUse Consilium to hold the system opportunity, coalition concept, relevant actors, and emerging pilot conditions together.
03Evidence boundaryThe concept is active work in progress. A pilot location, operating coalition, and demonstrated outcomes are not yet established.
04Next gateSecure a pilot region, operating partners, and catalytic support to move from coalition concept into pilot design.
